MacLellan Square Shawl

Square shawls are available in fine wool and cotton. They are 48 inches square and cut into on the diagonal from one corner. This creates a "V-shaped" center back and drapes over each shoulder (see photo to the left). It can also be draped over one shoulder to give the appearance of a short plaid (see photo below) and can be worn with a dress or over a suit or jacket. All square shawls are stitched at the edges and have a 1/2 inch trimmed fringe.

MacDuff Rectangular
Shawl

Rectangular shawls (see photo to the left) and plaids (see photo below) are woven in a looser set than the Shepherd's Capes but are of the same heavy wool or cotton. This creates a soft drape to the piece and adds a touch of elegance. They have twisted and knotted fringe 3 inches long.

If desired, rectangular shawls are also available with 50% linen/50% cotton content that results in a lace pattern. Contact us for pricing on these shawls.
